Michael Moore: A Biography

By Emily Schultz

A solid book, largely unbiased which is surprising given the subject material.

Honeymoon with my Brother

By: Franz Wisner

Interesting memoir of a guy who, after being dumped by his bride to be , decides to take his brother on the honeymoon instead. The honeymoon soons morphs into the sort of long term trip that I dream about.

I generally liked this book, though not the author. He’s a bit of a right wing jerk for much of the book. He’s critical of backpacking in a way which is rather funny given the level of snobbery the Lonely Planet books have inspired. “You want a travel guide for a Gap year written from a Canadian perspective? Ha you philistine, travel has no perspective leave your national pride at home. Furthermore, Canadians do not say Gap Year…Indeed!”
